Details

The plan connects the mountain areas that have been isolated from the sea to the coastal area. The community centre on the top of the hill and the connected Mid-Levels pedestrian lift will serve residents of St. Innes, which provides recreational activities, vocational training services, libraries and flexible public spaces for young people in need. The Central Park on the waterfront will serve as a valuable public resource for the community, promoting social integration through a range of cultural and public functions, and concentrating groups of different backgrounds and classes. The scheme reduces the public's reliance on private transportation by providing a densely populated block and unobstructed, vibrant public spaces; public, cultural, residential, retail, office and educational uses are commonplace in Las Salinas. Promote the all-round development of the community; through a series of dynamic and dynamic urban functions, pedestrians can gain a rich street experience and experience the charm of the city from a new angle.
Landscape Planning: To build a sustainable future and strengthen the landscape infrastructure and ecosystem facilities that are integral to the site, the design team looks for inspiration from nature and delve into the coastal landscape of Chile. The program explores planning forms and functions from different levels, with the intention of establishing links between various ecosystems on the base, strengthening the site's ability to withstand environmental changes, and ultimately in rainwater management, nutrient cycling, carbon emissions, microclimate, pollen transmission, and species distribution. Different categories achieve coordination results.
Public participation in planning: It is an important part of the project to seek good strategies to improve urban life and encourage the public to express their opinions and participate in discussions. Through a series of public meetings, design teams, government officials and local citizens continued to exchange views on a wide range of topics to discuss how to systematically improve the quality of urban life in Viña and beyond. All parties are looking forward to building a forward-looking and environmentally resistant development framework based on the unique characteristics of Viña, leading Las Salinas and the entire city towards a sustainable future.

Conclusions

This plan provides an open, intimate and sustainable urban development model for brownfield reconstruction. The planning of public space and community integration is worth learning.
