Network West Midlands is the name that connects all public transport in the West Midlands. This includes Birmingham, Dudley, Sandwell, Coventry, Walsall, Solihull and Wolverhampton.The Network West Midlands logo and signs are on all bus stops, at rail stations, at bus stations and on Metro stops. Wherever you see it, you'll find information on how to make it easier to use buses, trains and the Metro.You'll find timetable information at bus stops and maps and journey information at all places where services meet – helping you switch from bus to train or bus to Metro with confidence.We're working  towards creating a smoother, safer, more efficient and user-friendly system.

The majority of buses are tracked by Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) technology. This means we can send up-to-the-minute information to a screen within a shelter telling you when your bus will arrive. Don't worry if your stop doesn't have a screen, the Network West Midlands app will give you the information at your fingertips.There are many ways to plan your journey. Our most advanced Journey Plannerever will easily show you the best route on bus, train or tram. Additional options now mean you can include your sustainable activity of walking and cycling and create the journey that works for you.

The West Midlands Integrated Transport Authority (ITA), comprising the seven Metropolitan District Leaders and the three West Midlands Local Enterprise Partnerships' Chairs, formulates transport strategy and policy.The Transport Delivery Committee, made up of 19 West Midlands Councillors, is responsible for delivering quality standards.Centro, working in partnership with bus operators, train operators and Midland Metro, is delivering major public transport schemes and improvements to bus, rail and tram services.Network West Midlands is a partnership between Centro and the bus, train and tram operators to help passengers get around and access the information they need.Network West Midlands does not operate any bus, train or tram services.Centro does not operate bus, train or tram services, but it does run bus stations, provide bus shelters and subside socially necessary bus services. It also funds free travel for older and disabled people and half-price travel for the under 16s.Private companies operate bus, jtrain and tram services in the West Midlands. All of these are partners in the West Midlands and work together to provide better passenger information and improve services through Network West Midlands.
