The competition is open to undergraduates and masters of any major from universities all over the world to share their best works in “COVID-19 Trend Forecast for Global Cities”. The competition guides students to think deeply about the law of social public health emergencies, enhances their abilities in reviewing, analyzing and solving problems, improves modeling ability and analytical skills of students, especially machine learning and artificial intelligence and their comprehensive application ability.

面向全球所有在读学生本科生和硕士生，组织“全球城市新冠肺炎疫情趋势预测”的交流及评优活动，引导学生深入探究社会突发公共卫生事件的规律，增强学生理论联系实际，根据实际问题构建合理模型并寻找解决方法以及发现问题、分析问题、解决问题的能力，提升学生建模分析，特别是机器学习和人工智能及其综合运用能力。

Based on theepidemic pneumonia transmission in global cities，trend forecastreport establishes an analysis model to predict the spread trend of the epidemic in key cities, so as to understand the transmission law of the novel coronavirus, verify the effectiveness of the urban initiatives and enhance the resilience of the city.

预测报告将根据新冠肺炎疫情在全球城市发展传播的现状，建立分析模型预测疫情在关键城市的传播趋势，以期深入掌握新冠肺炎病毒传播规律，验证城市举措的有效性，增强城市的韧性。

The evaluation would be assessed by Jury reviews

Winning works are awarded:

1 Award of First Prize（pretax bonus ¥20000 for the team as total）

2 Awards of Second Prize（pretax bonus ¥10000 for each team as total）

4 Awards of Third Prize（pretax bonus ¥5000 for each team as total）

5 Nomination Awards

The winning works will be published in Guihua Journal.
